When do I pay?
All payment is required upfront before any work is started, once you have agreed the quote. Cash, card or bank transfer. No payment is taken at the quote stage.
How long does a clean take?
Standard cleans are back in 3 to 4 days. Express Kleans are 24 hours (£60) or 48 hours (£40). Restorations, repaints and sole work take longer and we give you a date with the quote.
Will every mark come out?
We aim to get every pair looking brand new, but some marks will not always come out, especially old stains, deep scuffs or dye transfer. Every trainer is cleaned to the best of our ability, and if we think something will not shift we tell you before you pay.
Which days do you collect?
Sundays and Tuesdays. Free within 10 miles of Leeds, £5 between 10 and 20 miles, and case by case beyond that. Send your postcode with your photo.
Can I post my trainers to you?
Yes, from anywhere in the UK. You pay postage both ways, we forward the return tracking number on dispatch, and once that tracking number has been provided Klean Kicks is not responsible for loss or damage in transit.
What if I do not collect my trainers?
Trainers that have not been collected 60 days after we notify you they are ready will be donated to charity.
Do you clean suede, leather and boots?
Yes. Leather, nubuck, suede, mesh, canvas and sheepskin boots, each with its own method. Designer pairs are welcome.
Is there anything you will not take?
We will always try our best to restore all types of footwear. Every trainer is different though, which is why we always quote from a photo first and tell you what to expect before you pay.
When are you open?
9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Tuesdays because that is when the collection run happens. Quotes are answered the same day, often within the hour.
Can I add new laces or a protective spray?
New laces are from £8 and the Klean package includes a free protective spray. Shoe trees are £5, repaint and redye from £10, and sole replacement is £25 to £50, all quoted from a photo.
Do you do restorations and repaints?
Yes. Send a photo and tell us what you are hoping for. Repaints and redyes are priced per job from £10 and colour matched to the original.
